I was in my late teens the first time I remember holding a camera in my hands. Of course, back then, all film had to be developed; I had no idea how my images had turned out until I went to Walmart and got the little envelopes with my photos and negatives.

The first shots I remember taking were of a couple posing in front of a sandy beach, with the Atlantic Ocean in the background. I was impressed with the photos and have never looked back.

Though I enjoy writing - couldn't survive comfortably without it - photography will always be one of my greatest passions.

I enjoy taking photos of nature, especially depicting sunsets, mountains and bodies of water.

When I am not with a camera, writing or working, I am spending time fixing things up around the house or enjoying time with my family.
